about

Colleen got her start in theatre, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College and performing with companies across the United States, including StageOne Family Theatre (KY), The Huron Playhouse (OH), Missoula Children’s Theatre (MT), Compass Rose Theatre (MD) and Derby Dinner Playhouse (IN), among others.

Colleen is no stranger to roles behind the curtain, supplementing her performance career working as a theatre educator and director for companies such as Adventure Theatre MTC (MD), Children’s Theatre of Annapolis (MD), and beyond.

She earned an MA in Arts Management from George Mason University, where she received an Outstanding Achievement Award and her capstone “Transforming Facilities: Multiuse Arts Centers and Adaptive Reuse” was a top three finalist. She went on to work in the arts management field at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History (PA), Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre (GA), and the Kauffman Center for the Arts (KS) in roles as wide ranging as fundraiser, house manager, props master, grant writer, supervisor, and general art appreciator ;). She also began training as a voice actor.

She polished her business acumen during the Covid-19 pandemic working outside of the arts, managing two boutique fitness studios. While serving as Operations Manager, Colleen managed day to day interactions, sales , and marketing - writing copy, communications and managing social media. By day, teaching barre, by night, developing her voiceover career. While she still teaches Barre classes regularly, Colleen is thrilled to be a full time Voice Actor.

Colleen has been a military spouse for over a decade. Her nomadic life has been an adventure - opening opportunities (and challenges) in places she never imagined; but her favorite is the adventure of being a mom to her two kids. She resides with her family in the Washington, D.C. region (for now).
